HARQ Using Hierarchical Tree-Structured Random Access Identifiers in NOMA-Based Random Access

چکیده
We propose an efficient hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) method that simultaneously achieves packet combining and resolution of the collisions random access identifiers (RAIDs) during retransmission in a non-orthogonal multiple (NOMA)-based system. Here, RAID functions as separator for received packets use same channel NOMA. An example this is scrambling code used 4G 5G systems. Since users independently select from candidate set prepared by system, decoding fails when RAID. Random reselection each user attempting can resolve collision; however, between previous retransmitted not possible case because base station receiver does know relationship previously transmitted packet. To address problem, we HARQ employs novel hierarchical tree-structured groups which transmission has one-to-one with RAIDs retransmission. The proposed resolves at randomly reselecting dedicated transmission. known station, achieved simultaneously. Computer simulation results show effectiveness method.

A Logarithmic Random Access Tree
Making a data structure that performs like a dynamic array but functions in logarithmic time for all operations is the goal, but is by no means a trivial one. The obvious solution is to use a tree of some sort, but how? By using a binary tree in which values are stored at the leaf nodes and each node keeps track of how many leaves there are below it, we can quickly achieve logarithmic random ac...
متن کاملRandom access using isolated regions
Random access is a desirable feature in many video communication systems. Intra pictures have been conventionally used as random access points, but correct picture content can also be recovered gradually within a range of pictures starting from a non-intra random access point. This paper proposes the use of the isolated regions technique for gradual decoder refresh and presents how the proposed...
متن کاملRandom Access Strategy in Hierarchical OFDMA Wireless Networks
As a promising multiple access technique for B3G cellular networks, OFDMA provides high resource granularity, but has a limitation that, in case of high mobility, it cannot perform coherent detection due to the long symbol transmission time. Therefore we present an advanced model of a hierarchical cellular system that combines multiple access techniques of OFDMA and FH-OFDMA with micro and macr...
متن کاملNeural Random-Access Machines
In this paper, we propose and investigate a new neural network architecture called Neural Random Access Machine. It can manipulate and dereference pointers to an external variable-size random-access memory. The model is trained from pure input-output examples using backpropagation. We evaluate the new model on a number of simple algorithmic tasks whose solutions require pointer manipulation and...
